Projects

Here you can find an overview of my latest projects. They are mainly academia-related, but there are so many more things that I love doing.

I am absolutely open to any sort of collaboration, so if you see something that interests you and you would like to know more about it and perhaps work with me do not hesitate to get in touch through social media!

As an organiser and as a speaker

Here you can find a list of the conferences, study days, seminars I have organised and co-organised, together with those where I presented my research.

This is something I really enjoy doing and I am always on the hunt for new stimuli, research ideas, and collaborations.

Journal articles, Book chapters, Reviews

This section is all about the writing. I have published in peer-reviewed journals, cultural and literary magazines, and edited collections.

I have a very wide array of interests spanning Dante, 18th, 19th, 20th century- and contemporary literature. A non-comprehensive list of topics I do research about would include: the Gothic, women's writings, girlhood, family novels, children's literature, pop culture, èkphrasis

For learners of Italian, University of Warwick official

Hosted by myself, the podcast is composed of brief, friendly chats with many different guests about aspects of Italian Culture (e.g. food, history, arts, pop culture, and many more).
It is useful to practice listening in Italian, for both beginners and advanced-level speakers (every episode is marked with a number of stars to indicate its difficulty), while discovering more about the Bel Paese.

Available on Anchor and Spotify.

Within and without academia: widening your audience

In this section I gather all the other projects I pursue, within and without academia.

Among other things, here you can find some short pieces on past exhibitions in Rome and suggestions for those who wants to do their Erasmus at Warwick.

I also help Italian learners to hone their oral skills with informal, friendly online chats and classes and I proofread works in Italian (feel free to get in touch if interested in any of these services).
